Dealing with a dog can have a surprising effect on the brain

The study found that walking a dog is relaxing, combing it improves concentration and playing with it does both.

In the study, 30 adults wore headsets with electrodes that measured their brain waves as they interacted with four-year-old poodle Aro, writes WebMd. For example, the dog was played with, fed and massaged, photographed, cuddled and walked. Each activity lasted three minutes.
